National 973 Project: Digital Cultural Heritage Protection
The Mogao Cave is an cultural relic that is disappearing. The Chinese government started a project that digitalize all the relic sites helping to keep the presence of it. Three universities were involved in the project.
Our group’s goal is to summarize and demonstrate the data from the outcome of other groups. It consists of multiple methods that enhance the experience. We’ve been working on Color Changing History, Semantic Search, Ritual Artifact Implication etc. I was also in charge of making a documentary about the whole project.
