Originally a humble church serving Greek immigrants, St. Nicholas was the only religious institution destroyed in the attacks. After a 21-year journey to rebuild, the Shrine now stands as a sanctuary for reflection and hope, with its white dome inviting visitors from around the world to connect with a universal story of perseverance through adversity.
My role was to direct the tech implmenetation of the donor kiosks and virtual tour app that is available to the general public. Our tech challenges include being able to fly drones in the 9/11 ground zero site to scan the entire St. Nicholas site and the park next to it.

The Navy SEAL Museum San Diego opened its doors on October 4, 2025, marking a significant cultural and educational addition to downtown San Diego at 1001 Kettner Blvd. The compact yet impactful 10,000-square-foot facility brings the legacy of U.S. Navy SEALs to life through immersive exhibits, interactive media, and firsthand accounts from retired SEAL docents, offering visitors rare insight into over 80 years of Naval Special Warfare history.

Positioned steps from the waterfront and complemented by cutting-edge experiences like virtual-reality missions, SDV driving simulations and missions exploration kiosks, the museum aims to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors annually while honoring values of teamwork, resilience, and service.
My role includes concepting, R&D and overseeing internal team’s development of the interactives. I am also responsible of directing the coordination of on-site deployment and maintainance.

#4 of 10 best new museums in the US 2025

In December 2024, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History completed the most transformative act in its century-long story—a decade-long, $150 million reinvention that reconceived how science, design, and digital experience converge. The expanded campus now offers more than 375,000 square feet of new and reimagined galleries and 2 acres of outdoor experiential space, shifting the institution from static timelines to a living, inquiry-driven narrative that places visitors at the center of Earth’s story.

From a creative-tech perspective, the project is an example of immersive storytelling: dynamic, media-enhanced exhibits such as the We are all stardust and Ames Family Curiosity Center that unite interactive visualization, sensory design, and data-rich interpretation to reveal the interconnectedness of planetary systems and biodiversity. The architecture itself—drawing inspiration from glacial geology—framed through digital and spatial interaction, reinforces the thematic fusion of nature and technology. Cleveland Museum of Natural History has ranked fourth in USA Today’s ‘10 Best New Museums’ list.
My role in this project is overseeing a team of talented creative technologists in transforming the museum content with interactive technology. We made 5 distinctive interactives throughout the museum. “We are all stardust”, “Biodiversity across Ohio”, “We are all connected”, “Identify It!”, “Mechanics of Evolution”.
I am the developer of “We Are All Stardust”.

ArtLens for Slack, the latest collaboration between Potion and the Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA), is the first rapid-response art exhibition app designed to bring joy and community to remote workers isolated by the COVID-19 Pandemic. The app unites work teams through brief but significant moments of companionship, humor and serendipity woven into the workday.

ArtLens for Slack allows users to recharge, get inspired, and discuss current topics in the digital workplace. It's an app that combines the traditional museum experience and those in-office watercooler conversations. Like visiting the museum with your coworkers, it recreates the experience of a team building exercise from the comfort of your home office.

ArtLens for Slack is the first rapid-response art exhibition app designed for remote workplaces. It generates artworks from the CMA’s collection based on a prompt, bringing works that span centuries to present-day conversations. Thinking about personal protective equipment? Check out an amazing chain mail shirt from the museum’s European arms and armor collection! Considering clocking into happy hour early? Grab a gilded goblet and pour yourself a glass! Has working from home relaxed your dress code? Find a figure drawing that reflects your current state of dress!

ArtLens Exhibition is an experiential gallery experience that invites people ot explore art through body gestures, facial emotions and eye movements. Working with the museum’s cross-collaborative team, Potion brought together curators, exhibition designers, museum educators, and information technologists to design a new model for digital interpretation built on interactive digital projection and screens.

Developed using Cinder C++ framework and poScene (our internal scene graph at Potion), ArtLens was the most complicated and technically challenging project at Potion as of 2017. Consists of 6 projected screens and 3 touch screens, it has a total number of 16 unique experiences.I developed 10 Kinect based experiences, as well as many other aspects of the project such as menus, text rendering, motion transitions, glsl shaders, cms specifications and sounds.

TechnologyCinder, C++, OpenGL, GLSL, Google AnalyticsTo support two new world-class athletic facilities, Northwestern wanted to use digital technology to transform their new buildings into recruiting tools for prospective athletes, coaches, families, and special event VIPs. Working with our content partners Teamworks media, Potion designed and developed a multi-modal system across 2 buildings to to tell the more than 100-year story of Northwestern Athletics, from its legendary players like Otto Graham and Joe Girardi, to its classic wins at the Rose Bowl. The development phase of this project was particularly fun. From impactful, large scale motions to micro-interactions, we worked closely with designers to achieve the best experience. I was in charge of developing the front end part of the application to achieve text animation, generative motion, video playback, customized menus, text justification, and special effects while preserving the butter smooth framerates.

Situated within the Civil War and Reconstruction: The Battle for Freedom and Equality exhibit, the interactives begin with the final text of 13th, 14th and 15th amendment. This text is physically printed on a drafting table surface so users can feel the individual words that make up each amendment, underscoring their relative permanence. As users touch the physical text, the table activates projections that draw out the themes and rights contained in the selected clause; citizenship, due process etc. These themes can then be analyzed in multimedia wall mounted presentations. The interactive also includes a timeline of the events that influenced the framers in the run up to ratification as well as previous drafts of the amendment text. In reviewing each draft, visitors can see how the text evolved over time, discover the authors who fought for and against those changes, and learn why even the smallest word choice was so contentious and influential in what our country is to this day.Potion TeamPrincipal: Phillip TiongsonProducer: Claire Bradley

Louis Armstrong House Museum is building their new building. In it, Potion is creating an installation to display the rich content from the museum. Featuring 8 interactive screens (different from the sketch), the entire table was meant to form a circle that represents a LP record.
